Peace Palace in The Hague Around 1913

This old photo shows the Peace Palace in The Hague. It opened on August 28th, 1913 and was funded by Scottish-American, Andrew Carnegie. It’s quite a stunning building that still stands in The Netherlands. Today it houses The Hague Academy of International Law, which was also funded by Carnegie.
