Photos of 1941 Ladies’ Strip Poker in Detroit

This ranks up there with some of the more bizarre photo series’ that we have stumbled upon. This shows a group of women in Detroit, during the summer of 1941, playing what appears to be a game of strip poker. The photos are labeled as being done by Arthur Siegel for the Office of War Information.

Three women in Detroit playing cards.

More card playing and drinking Coke.

Women are getting into the game now.

Not looking good for the woman on the left.

Looks like the lady on the left lost.

Left-most lady continues to disrobe.

Despite “losing” the woman on the left appears calm.

This party is about to get real.

Game over.
