Here are some cool old photos of First Ladies, before they set foot in The White House.

Here is a photo of a young Eleanor Roosevelt, quite possibly the most famous First Lady. She was born in 1884.

Jackie Kennedy was quite possibly the most glamorous First Lady to grace the halls of the White House. Our current First Lady, Michelle Obama has been making a good run for that title over the last six years. She was born in 1929.

Elizabeth Bloomer Ford

Betty Ford as a teen

Betty Ford, was married to the only president never elected to the White House, the 38th President of the United States, Gerald Ford. Her greatest contribution was after she was First Lady, when she founded the Betty Ford Center to help treat and deal with chemical dependencies. She was born in 1918.

Here is a phto of the former First Lady, who spearheaded the “Just Say No” campaign of the 1980s, Nancy Reagan. She was born in 1921.

This post wouldn’t be complete without the former First Lady, Senator from New York, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She probably has the most impressive resume of all First Ladies, and who knows … maybe she’ll be adding President of the United States to this list? She was born in 1947.
